Thank you for your interest in providing a home for one of our rescued pets. Please understand that our process does not operate on a first-come basis. Our goal is to match each pet to the best family for that pet. We appreciate your patience because all our workers are volunteers with jobs and other responsibilities, we follow up as quickly as possible.
Sometimes when we respond to your emails, it goes to your spam or junk folder. Please check these folders when expecting a response from Paws. We ALWAYS respond to each email and inquiry we receive on a daily basis.
Sarah, born approximately 10/26/2024, had a litter this spring and was rescued late in June.
You can see the horrendous fear in her eyes. Hopefully, we can show her that not all humans are evil. We don't know exactly what happened to Sarah before she was rescued, but she bears the marks and scars of abuse on her face, which are thankfully less and less noticeable every day.
Sarah is slowly coming out of her shell with twice-daily hand-feeding and shows obvious pleasure when scratched with a back scratcher. She will need someone who can give her lots and lots of love to continue to coax her out of her fear.
She will also need an experienced "Cat Person" to be able to give her what she needs.
Sarah's baby girl, Duchess (available for adoption) can also be seen on our website.
