Whiskerville Cats -- Wednesday January 4th, 2012
ATTENTION! ATTENTION!
PLEASE HELP US HELP THESE BABIES!!!!
Due to the raid and confiscation of all the Whiskerville Cats/Kittens the Texas City Shelter is overloaded and will have to euthanize the over 100 healthy kittens/cats they currently have to make room for the Whiskerville animals.
I know our foster homes are full but if you have a family member or friend who can foster just one, Paws can provide food and veterinarian/medical care to the foster homes that are willing to take one.
The only issue may be transporting to veterinarians for checkups and/or spay/neuters but I will try and work with anyone wanting to help with this horrible situation.
If you know anyone who is interested, please give them my email address paws@oplink.net and have them contact me immediately!
FUNDRAISER/ADOPTION EVENT -- Tuesday November 8th, 2011
Paws Animal Rescue will be holding a FUNDRAISER/ADOPTION EVENT on Saturday, November 12th to raise much needed funds so we may continue to rescue abandoned & homeless dogs/cats/kittens/puppies. We will have drawings for both dog and kitty baskets full of goodies, and will be selling our wonderfully scented candles. Paws will have lots of dogs and cats available for adoption so please come by and look!! The location is "Storage Choice" on FM 518 in Pearland right across the street from Strickland Chevrolet. We will be there from 11am to 4pm. Bring the whole family!
Nano Update -- Wednesday January 12th, 2011
January 12, 2011 UPDATE:
Nano went to the vet today for an examination and x-ray of his little leg. Our Veterinarian assures us that Nano's broken leg is now healed. He has been released into the rest of the house to run, jump and play with the other kitties. Nano is having a blast and is getting the well-needed socialization with the other kitties. His total vet bill is a little over $1000.00. Paws is still in need of donations to cover Nano's hospital stay. Nano will be neutered in approximately 2 weeks.
12/23/2010: Nano’s is our "Micro-sized" kitten with a "Major" Injury. Due to the nature of Nano's size and having a broken femur, Nano has to stay in the hospital after surgery. Paws needs help with his daily hospitalization and surgery to pin his tiny rear leg! Please see Nano's Story on our website under "Cats Needing Sponsors/Donations".
