Thank you for your interest in providing a home for one of our rescued pets. Please understand that our process does not operate on a first-come basis. Our goal is to match each pet to the best family for that pet. We appreciate your patience because all our workers are volunteers with jobs and other responsibilities, we follow up as quickly as possible.
Athena is a sweet and loving girl. She is very good with children and other dogs. Athena stays inside but loves to run and play in the yard. She is not a barker. Addie as she is lovingly nicknamed is a snuggler. She is also very gentle and when her foster mom was taking care of a 2 lb. Chi...Addie would lay on the floor and let the Chi bite her in the mouth and on her legs. She would let the little Chi stick her head in her mouth and chew on her and would just make noises but would not hurt her. It was the cutest thing to watch. Addie is completely deaf and we are teaching her sign language. Athena is up to date on her shots, spayed and microchipped. She is also heartworm negative.
