Thank you for your interest in providing a home for one of our rescued pets. Please understand that our process does not operate on a first-come basis. Our goal is to match each pet to the best family for that pet. Because all our workers are volunteers with jobs and other responsibilities, we cannot respond to every application we receive. We follow up on the best and most complete applications. If we feel that your application matches a pet in our care, we will call or email you to arrange a home visit.

Meet Sweet Pea!!! What a precious young girl she is. Sweet Pea has really not had much of a chance in life to learn what being taken good care of means. She basically lived on the street with her brother Cyrus and a kind person in the neighborhood fed them for months and let her in to their backyard sometimes to play with their dogs. She is pretty shy right now and needs someone that understands it may take a little time for her to come out of her shell.
Pea absolutely ADORES running around the back yard and having the other dogs chase her. She is very smart - if no one will play chase with her - she will steal a toy from them so the race begins. She enjoys affection but sometimes you have to make her stop and let you hug and kiss her.
Sweet Pea deserves a chance at a good life. She is sure to become a tail-wagging delight for anyone that will take a chance on her. She is very sweet and beautiful. She absolutely loves playing with the other dogs in her foster home. She is crate and house trained. Sweet Pea is up-to-date on shots, spayed and will be micropchipped. Her adoption fee is 150.0
